Bio of Sandra Levin - only here because people always ask.

I live in beautiful Central Illinois in Woodford County overlooking the Illinois River a few miles away from Peoria with my husband Daniel. We have 4 children and 2 grandchildren that are an endless source of fun and delights.

I have been in business for myself for over 30 years. After working for a large Corporation like Mobil Oil early on and finding out how difficult it can be to get anything done in a large company I found that taking orders for inane things wasn't really my style. Making a difference in the world is something that I ascribe to and by helping others achieve goals and dreams, I achieve my objective.

Oil Patch Pipe and Supply was a company that supplied used equipment to oil drillers on site. It was a way to help recycle used pipe and supplies and allow independent oil drillers to do their work and achieve cost effectiveness by not having to buy new equipment for every drilling venture. This company folded when the independent drilling economy collapsed under President Carter.

Working for New York Life Insurance Company in the late 80's early 90's showed me that I could indeed sell things I believed in and show others how to as well. When computers became available for personal use, I built databases to keep client records in order and was one of the first agents to have a 'download' and 'update' from New York Life's mainframes that wiped out my data that was 3 years in the making! Backups weren't real popular at that time.

Orbit Skate Center is owned and operated by my family since 1992. There are 4 generations currently at the rink. When I purchased the rink in 1992 it was a mess and we've built it over the years to be one of the premier roller skating rinks in the country. It was one of the first roller rinks on the Internet and has continued to develop and grow over the years.

ElevinDesign was started as a way to show how small business owners can market and advertise their businesses on a very slim budget and still get results. I offer my design skills for brochures, flyers, postcards, business cards and websites.
