Give a Reminder of Your Business
Do you like to get presents that are least expected?
We aren't talking cheesy logo calendars, fridge magnet or something that you will never use. Think of something that your customer would use every day. I have to tell you, the most useful item I ever got was a silly rubber circle from my local furniture store.
You placed it over a jar lid and it gave great traction. Worked every time and I had it in my kitchen drawer for 20 years until it fell apart. Now that is making good use of what's commonly known as an advertising specialty. The furniture stores logo was in the middle of the jar opener and every time I reached for it, it brought that store to mind.
Wouldn't you like to have that sort of residual reminder in someone's drawer? How about in their car, on the fridge - no, magnets are so not worthy unless they are very cool. How about a fridge clip that holds recipes, shopping lists, notes, photos and has your logo and colors?
Recently, we noticed at one of the businesses that every cake server was gone. The nice heavy metal ones with wood handles, all gone. Rather that getting upset, we got the idea to have plastic nice quality cake servers made and imprinted with the words: Stolen from company wyz. People now laugh and take them home as souvenirs from a fun day at a birthday party and every time they use that silly plastic cake server...guess what.
Advertising specialties can be cheesy items that you rarely use or something so useful you use until it is worn out. Consider carefully when choosing, and ask many people if they would use something before you invest your money.
